Hi! I love working with children and adolescents. I am beginning psychiatry residency in July, a specialty that requires strong interpersonal communication skills. Throughout my third year of medical school, I've been consistently praised for my affinity for building strong patient-physician relationships, friendly attitude, sense of humor, and empathy for patients. I grew up in Oklahoma, went to the Oklahoma School of Science of Mathematics for high school, Vanderbilt for undergraduate, and am a fourth year medical student at OU. Hate to admit that I'm a Lakers fan first and foremost and Thunder second - however, the Lakers have been so atrocious in recent years it hasn't been difficult to root for Russ. In my spare time, I play pickup basketball, work out, sing, cook, and love playing piano and guitar. I have no idea where residency will take me, but I'm incredibly excited about my future career in a specialty in which I can make drastic improvements in my patients' quality of lives! If you're looking for an easygoing, well rounded tutor who is particularly strong in hard sciences, anything medical related, or mathematics, I'd be a good fit.
